I did these for Country Living Magazine about 12 years ago and people still call me around the Holidays for them….so simple…spray paint gold or silver styrofoam balls (the hard ones)….take a pearlized pin ,pierce a big a faux glass bead and then a sequin and pierce it through ball…..go around the whole ball when complete put in a pretty bowl or a bird cage (because they are tooo heavy for the tree) and make merry!!!

Ahhhh, we used to make these as kids, like 45 years ago. I forgot how much fun that kind of thing is!

So fabulous! Seriously. A classic obviously if folks keep asking about them! Love these Jennifer.
Was that you I saw in C.L. mag? I remember seeing these balls and thinking how beautiful they were. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I’m making some for sure, for sure!

Oh I not only remember these but I have the article still in my special things binder! Loved them then and love them now
I have a box of these at home – my mom makes them over and over. Heavy. so they have to go on the strong branches of the tree.
